How old is too old to still be living at home with the 'rents?

The way our economy is at this point, I think it's hard to determine through age. If you can support yourself and your own family, get out of your parents house. IT'S TIME!!!

Good Evening! I hope things are going well for all of you. Well, an odd thing just happened when I went to......................................................................................................did you guess..............................the bathroom. So, I was in a stall, when this girl walked in. Now, since she's talking on the phone, I figured that she was going to wash her hands or something. But she doesn't go to the sinks. She goes into one of the stalls. Then she makes use of it. But here's the thing.......................SHE'S STILL TALKING ON THE PHONE! Now how close do you have to be with someone in order to continue talking on the phone with them while you're taking a p*ss? Also, what kind of friend/relative are you when you are practically forcing someone to stay on the phone and listen to you pee? And why didn't the person on other end just hang up?

Just wanted to tell yall about this, since it completely confused me.

I'm sure everyone here has heard of the murder of her mother and brother. It's not just unfortunate, it's wrong. To lose loved ones in that manner must be unbearable; losing loved ones in any manner is a tragedy in itself. Not only that, but her nephew Julian King has yet to be found (as far as I know). Keep her your hearts, please.

Why do you think people don't vote? Are they lazy, apathetic or jaded by politics?

I just read an article about this in the new Essence issue. I honestly don't know. I think it might be because over the last decade or two, now matter who has been President or who is in the legislative branch, the lives of "minorities" (I prefer not to use that word, but I can't find another one right now) has not improved significantly. However, I hope that with this unqiue elcetion, more people will step up and take what is rightfully theirs: their right to choose who represents us and our country.

I found out something interesting about the voting process from my mother, & I figured I would tell

My mother emailed me a few weeks ago and told me something I hadn't known before. She told me that on November 4th, you can't go the the voting place wearing anything that has Obama, Biden, McCain, Palin, or any other presidential candidate's name on it. If the officials see it, they won't allow you to vote!!! The reason is, the officials that the voting place considers wearing that a sign of campaigning and that isn't allowed in the voting place. So, if you are going to vote in the presidential election on November 4th, be certain to NOT wear anything that has a candidate's name on it. You don't want your chance to change the country to be taken away because of a button, do you?

On Monday, I had a group presention in a class that focuses on the civilization and culture of South Africa. Besides me, only the two other girls in my group showed up! So of course we presented our project. Out of the two guys in our group, only one of them showed up to our meeting and worked on the project with us. So, even thugh he didn't present with us, he still did his part. The other guy didn't show up to the class we had before the project was due AND he didn't show up at the meeting! So guess what? That guy has to do his OWN gproject. The lesson ladies and gentlemen: If you don't want to end up having to do a FIVE-PERSON PROJECT by yourself, show up!!!

My Last Full Night with a Laptop....

is coming to an end. Unfortunately, at 6, 6:30 tomorrow night, I need to return this laptop to my school's computer helpdesk office. To all the people I have chatted with since I received this laptop this past Friday evening, I had a wonderful time talking with you, and I hope that we can all chat again someday.............................................

I got it!! I got the laptop from the school! I went to the computer helpdesk at noon after class. But there were four people ahead of me on the waitlist. So I went to the library and used the computer until a quarter after four. I hadn't eaten since breakfast so I left to eat. I did a little bit of more work and went to the first floor. Then on a whim I decided to go to the helpdesk and see where I was on the waitlist. Come to find out, a student was informed last night that he was being lent a laptop. He said that he'd pick it up today, but by the time I got there, he didn't show up. Well, since the office was going to close in two minutes, the guy in charge (he was the one helping me) decided to give me the laptop for the weekend!!!!
